Who is The Budget Fashionista?
My name is Kathryn Finney and I'm "The Budget Fashionista".  In 2003, I was faced with mountains of credit card debit and student loans (damn you, Yale University), created as a result of overspending and under planning. I knew there had to be a way to look fabulous AND pay my bills. This blog is filled with the tips, tricks, and advice I've learned on my way to becoming fashionably frugal.

When was the blog started?
The Budget Fashionista blog was started in 2003 from a love of fashion, but a lack of cash. It was one of the first fashion blogs. 

Do I have to be a member in order to post a comment?
No. But in order to use an avatar, create your own page, and comment in the forum, you must join our community. It's free.

How do I search for a specific topic on the site?
For quick searches, just type in your term in the search box located in the upper right hand corner of the site. If you have a little more time, look through our archive section.
