Why I Heart Crocs: Kid Style
February 20, 2008 04:00 PM

What We Say: I know Crocs are one of those fashion items that you either love or hate (sort of like Uggs) but frankly they are really useful. For the umpteenth time this winter I had to grab my kid before she marched across the house with her muddy shoes. She’s barely walking and yet she’s managing to get enough mud on her shoes to look like Big Foot has come for dinner. Cleaning her shoes consists of waiting for the mud to dry off and then knocking it off with a brush. The whole process is tedious and I’m looking forward to the warmer weather when I can slip her in some Crocs and then if she gets muddy, just give them a quick rinse under the tap. Water proof shoes are a parent’s God-send. And you don’t have to wear them, your kid does, so does it really matter if you don’t like them? Another reason I love them is because they don’t get their feet hot. When the weather start turning, wearing boots make your kid’s feet sweaty and uncomfortable. Hence why Crocs, which they can wear with out socks, save the day.
