What: The Budget Bambino looks at Freepeats.org.

The Lowdown: Freepeats.org is the latest project from the creator of Baby Cheapskate, another great baby budget blog. Freepeats.org is a similar concept to Freecycle but with a baby twist. The site is dedicated to passing on ‘gently used’ children and maternity items. Unlike Freecycle, Freepeats.org expects forum members to pass on usable items, not just anything in your closet.

What We Say: This is a great idea and I’m sure it will take off. The site is just starting out, so make sure to check back and see if a local forum has opened near you.
