Kids Next Door: After Bedtime

What: Kids Next Door, where kids can learn more about being good citizens.
The Lowdown: The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has developed Kids Next Door, an interactive website that allows children to learn about being a responsible member of the community. Here kids can learn about volunteering in the community, the people in our community who do jobs to help us, or go on a scavenger hunt to learn about their community.
What I say: Looking for some fun ways to teach your children about doing good in the community? This website is a great place to start! It’s also a great tool for homeschooling parents to start teaching about becoming a responsible citizen.
