What: American Eagle Outfitters is launching a new kid’s apparel retail store.

The Lowdown: The new stores, called 77kid, will be opening all over the USA in 2009. Online sales will be available soon at 77kid.com. Here’s what the company had to say: “It’ll capture the heritage of the [American Eagle] brand...it’s not only cute and trend-right, but it also has all the facets that a mom wants: durability [and] versatility.”
